Richard Simms – Associate Trainer

Richard has over 25 years’ experience as a Learning and Development Consultant, Manager and Management Trainer within both the public and private sector. He has spent all of his career in Learning and Development working as a trainer, consultant and leading L & D Teams culminating in a role as a Senior Learning and Development Consultant within the Pension Service of the Department for Work and Pensions.

Richard has worked on Leadership programmes with many diverse organisations for example Lancashire Constabulary, NHS Blood and Transplant Service and Northern Rail.

His ethos for training is “Fun with a purpose” and strongly believes the more impactful and enjoyable the learning and development then the more learning actually takes place. He has developed a reputation for delivering highly memorable and enjoyable learning solutions with skills that are easily transferable to the work place

He has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the design, writing, delivery, facilitation and evaluation of learning events and has built close working relationships with Training Teams, Training Managers and Senior Managers/Leaders in both the public and private sector on the design and delivery of highly effective and innovative learning solutions.
