Proactive Problem Solving

We face problems every day and being able to solve problems is a key skill, and particularly if you are a leader.  Problems come in all shapes and sizes, they can be large scale or small, simple or complex, internal or external. Your ability to define the problem correctly and find suitable solutions is one thing; but also to remove root causes of problems to stop them happening again. This means being able to move past just the symptoms of a problem and conduct effective root cause analysis.

The Course

Feeling confident to spot problems and deal with them is also an essential part of problem-solving success. Understanding your own approach to thinking and idea generation is significantly linked. In this course we will explore problems solving tools and techniques and practice solving problems in a safe and fun environment.

This course is useful for any individual that wishes to be more proactive in their ability to solve problems. It is especially useful for leaders and managers whom others look too for answers.


This is an interactive session to practice the behaviours needed for problem solving pro-actively. You may fall down a few traps along the way but that’s to be expected, it induces lots of laughter and makes the key learning points very memorable indeed.
