Stress Management

When we feel stressed it is usually because our mind and body are experiencing the ‘fight and flight response’. Due to either physical threat or more commonly mental ‘overwhelm’ our body is flooded with adrenaline.  As a result  stress can manifest itself in a range of symptoms and ultimately make you or your team absent from work and very ill. In this session we explore 6 strategies recommended by the Health and Safety Executive to encourage positive self management and stress reduction.

The Course

The HSE report that if these 6 key areas are not properly managed then poor health and well-being, lower productivity and increased sickness absence are likely.  Following this session you will feel re-energised and back in control of your own mood, health and wellbeing.

Who is it for?

This course is helpful for people who would like to learn how to reduce their feelings of stress, negativity, burnout and anxiety.

It is especially beneficial for any individual that finds it hard to bounce back from negative experiences, deals with difficult people, feels guilty frequently and has internal barriers to success in work and life.

This is an interactive session which requires individual and group work. It is not counselling or therapy and air time is tightly facilitated to ensure everyone gets the most from the session.

Each participant will take away a folder containing the questions, tips and materials to manage their own stress levels.  Each participant will be encouraged to continually use the folder over the coming months and to monitor their progress.
